Shepherd Road Allotments are an award winning site featured on BBC "Gardeners' World"in 2024. Over 170 plots growing a wide variety of flowers, fruit & vegetables and trees. There will something to inspire you on your own plots for sure. Car sharing is encouraged, details of which to be shared.

About the event
Open under the National Garden Scheme (NGS) for charity this site has a rough track that leads you around the site where many of the plots can be viewed or stroll along the grasssy paths to find tucked away gems like the wildlife area and the orchard. Make time to have refreshments outside the cabin. Partial wheelchair access. The track around the side is not tarmac and is quite rough.
