As part of the National Garden Scheme open day which raises money for charity, this allotment site is open to the public. There is an admission charge of £5. This covers admission to the Sefton Park Allotments too.

About the event
This is a real local community garden with a mix of 12 raised beds of different sizes, mini-apiary, water harvesting units, greenhouse, pond, wildflower space and habitats for nature. Local residents dig, sow, plant, pick food, water and tend to the garden throughout the year. Come and meet the happy residents and raise some funds for charity at the same time. Refreshments are available.
